The Curious Case of Elizabeth Wong

The curious case of Elizabeth Wong... Conspiracy? Privacy infringement?

Wow! It's not easy being a public figure eh? Who says it's easy? It was never easy! Be it a singer, actor, sportsman, politician, royalty, businessman. As long as you are in the eye of public, you should be very careful with what you do and what you are about to do. Remember what happened to Michael Jackson, Edison Chen, Chris Brown, Michael Phelp?

Coming back to to Ms Elizabeth Wong, to me she did nothing wrong or at least not wrong enough to cause hurt to anybody. Being a single woman of 39 years, she has all the right to fall in love and be with whoever she chose. She has the right to do whatever she thinks is necessary that can make her relationship lasts. There's no law that forbids couples making out in a private enclosure, is there? There's no law that state that unmarried couples are not to have sex, is there? So....??? What's wrong? Okay, now it has been made public. Her relationships, her semi nude photos, her video, can be seen on the net. So..? I think if we go on net anytime, we should be able to see millions of nude pictures of men and women. So? What's the big hoohaah?

Let us not compare Elizabeth with Soi Lek. We have brains, we have senses. Let us not talk like some brainless, senseless people. I'm sure we know how to weigh these two cases sensibly. Although both of them are public figures, Soi Lek is a married man! With children! He had an affair! Mind you he can be put behind bars if his wife chose to prosecute him! These 2 cases are of complete different category. So, don't ask Elizabeth to resign just because Soi Lek has to!

Elizabeth need not resign, she should stood by her rights. She did nothing wrong, it's her private life. If someone wants to invade into her privacy it's not her fault. Her only mistake is she trusted the wrong guy! For now, she should just let it be! Now it's time for her to prove herself, to be strong, to handle this difficult situation delicately. Just be herself, continue to serve the people, continue to do what she think is right. Not to fall for the trap of those evil mind who wanted to destroy her career or her passion for their own benefit.

I'll stand by her and I hope she is strong enough to ride through this.
