The Astro Wah Lai Toi Awards 2009 was held at the Arena of Stars Genting last Saturday, 21st February. Well, as I didn't watch this event, I have to make do with the results that I got from Simply Fungyi's blog.
'Heart of Greed' swept 9 awards this year, breaking previous record by 'War and Beauty' which took 8 awards in 2005. There again, another big sweep!If you have not watch this drama series, here's a short summary of the drama. It's about one guy who runs a successful abalone business. He has 2 wives and of course children by both wives. The beauty of this story is the wives and children stayed together and lived happily together. Weird right? Only...at first...not ever after. Things got worse when this guy passed away and the second wife wanted to have more share of the business and money. The story ends well of course, but in a very abrupt way. For certain reason I do not like it. Watch it and be your own judge.
